Our last night

We spent our last night having dinner and playing games with the family. It was a wonderful way to end our vacation. We had the best time. We love being with our family and miss them so much when we in Texas. Thanks for a wonderful 2 weeks.

Arent they adorable!

We even found time for one more game of Settler's before we left!

The Iuli's visit

While we were in San Diego we got to spend a couple hours with our dear friends the Iuli's. It wasn't near long enough but we were happy to have the time with them that we did. They had their second baby Toa just a week after we had visited San Diego last time so we were eager to meet the "little" guy. They brought Toa and K over to swim and visit. It was wonderful to see them!

Randoms

We had a wonderful time in Palm Springs this Summer. We are already looking forward to next year. This is one of our most favorite times to be together with everyone! Here are some random pictures of our last couple days in Palm Springs!

The episode where Jessie's dad gets married!

On Tuesday we decided to fulfill a dream of mine. I know this sounds corny but if you were/are a Saved By The Bell fan you will understand. I have always wanted to ride the boat in the J.W Marriott. The same boat they all took a ride in during the episode where Jessie's dad gets married. Since we were in Palm Springs and the hotel was only 10 minutes from us we decided to do it, needless to say I was super excited. We decided that we would head out around 10 to ride the boat.

This is what we saw when we got there :( I had called the day before to ask if the boat ride was open to guests not staying in their hotel and how much it would cost. Apparently I should have asked what time the rides started. I guess what they say about assuming really is true :) Since it was early in the day we decided we would come back at 5 to ride the boat. In the meantime we went and had lunch, went to the movies and did some shopping at the mall. Uncle Lance was so kind and took all the kids to see Marmaduke so Laura, Lauren, Irene and I could see Letter to Juliet. After the movies we headed to the mall they had some of these random cut outs through out the mall so we took advantage of them.

Then it was back to the J.W. Marriott to fulfill my dream!

It was everything I had hoped it would be!

Golf Balls

After Grammy cooked us a wonderful dinner she took the kids out on the golf course to collect golf balls. She has a golf ball retriever and the kids love having a turn pulling the golf balls out of the "lake"
