Auntie and Acts Visit.....Day 1

Paul's sister and brother-in-law came to visit us a couple of weeks ago. They were only here a couple days but we had the BEST time. They got in late Wed night and left Saturday morning. Since we only had a couple days we were determined to make the most of our time. We filled every moment with something. It was truly a wonderful time, and we were so sad to see them go. Here are the pictures of our adventures on day 1.

After Sawyer's musical we took Zac and Laura to one of our favorite places for lunch, La Hacienda, then it was home for some Settlers of Cattan while we waited froSawyer to get out of school. After we picked up Sawyer we went out for ice cream and then it was off to the horse races!
Then a late dinner at Maggianos to celebrate Laura and I being the big winners at the races. It was a great way to start our time together!

Had to get a picture of the outfit Sawyer chose to wear to the horse races. Check out the guy checking out Sawyer's look.

Sawyer's Musical Part 1

Sawyer had his end of the year musical a few weeks ago. The kids go to music and chapel, as well as a spanish class once a week at school. This is where they learned all the songs and motions for the performance. The teachers were wonderful and did a great job with the kids. The theme was "Music and Chapel Texas Style" the kids were supposed to wear all things western. Here are some pictures of our little cowboy.

Uncle Daniel Visits

A few weeks back Paul's older brother Daniel came for a quick visit. He was here for about 18 hours. He stumbled upon Jet Blue's $10 fares. So he flew into Austin drove up to Dallas spent the night, drove back to Austin and flew home. Although short, the visit was packed full and so fun. We had a great time. We went to the baseball game in Arlington, Rudy's for breakfast, and time just catching up. Here are some pictures of our time together.
