Sawyers Birthday Part 3

Sawyer chose to have a pirate themed Birthday this year. While I was shopping for party supplies I came across pirate treasure hunt clue cards. Paul and I thought it would be fun to let Sawyer be a pirate and hunt for his treasure(birthday presents) this year. While Sawyer was napping Val and I hid all of his Birthday presents around the house and filled out the clue cards accordingly. After Sawyer's birthday dinner the treasure hunt began. We would read a clue card let Sawyer find his gift, open it and proceed to the next clue. It was so much fun watching Sawyer face light up after each gift he found. He enjoyed this so much! It really was a treat for us to watch him. Here are a million pictures of his treasure hunt. Enjoy!

Sawyer's Birthday Part 2

What a BirthDAY Sawyer had. We started the day with donuts for breakfast and opening a couple presents before daddy headed off to work. Then Grammy, Sawyer and myself finished up some errands for the birthday party.
We had a special B-day lunch at Chick-fil-a, the birthday boy's place of choice. Spent the afternoon finishing up cupcakes for the party, resting and enjoying Sawyer's new toys. Then we met Daddy for Dinner at one of Sawyer's favorite places..Rainforest Cafe. It was delicious as always. When we got home we had a treasure hunt for Sawyer's Birthday presents( post to follow). Then concluded the night singing Happy Birthday and eating a yummy ice cream cake. It was a long day full of celebration! Still can't believe our baby is 4. Enjoy the pictures, there are a ton of them.

Sawyer's Birthday Part 1

Sawyer's class celebrated his Birthday a day early(since he doesn't have school on his actual Birthday) It was so special for him, his first class party! His teachers put out a sign by the door, he got a special Birthday crown, the class sang Happy Birthday, and they ate cupcakes. What a fun way to celebrate with his school friends!
