Snow Day Fun.....Part 1

Yesterday was such a fun day. It had snowed the night before and everything was covered in white. It was so beautiful. We headed out to play before Paul had to go to work and Sawyer had to go to school. Can you believe Sawyer had school? If you would have asked me 2 years ago if I ever thought I would have to take my kid to school in the snow, I probably would have laughed and for sure said NO. Over the past 2 years I have learned to never say never. Sawyer LOVED driving to school in the snow. He was staring out his window in awe. He kept saying ,"Thank you God for this beautiful snow." It was so sweet and a memory I never want to forget.
The weather ended up being so bad that Paul was given the day off. So I have so many pictures of us playing in the snow after school too. SO many, that I had to break them up into 2 different posts. The first post are the pictures taken before school, and the second post will be the pics of us after school. Be warned there are a ton of pictures. Enjoy!

Sawyers Valentines party at school

Sawyer had his Valentines party at school today. We had so much decorating picture frames, playing games and decorating cookies. The kids also exchanged Valentines. It was really special because Daddy got to come to the party. Here are some pictures of our fun party.

Valentines Playdate

Yesterday, we had a Valentines playdate with some friends from school. We went over to Macy's house. We did some fun Valentines crafts and played. It was such a fun time. Thanks Whitney and Macy for having us over.

A couple of days ago Sawyer came out of his room looking like this....

This hat was from Paul's Aunt Beth. It's a Chargers helmet beanie. It fit him when he was 9 mos.

He obviously has his fathers sense of style :)

Who needs toys....

Our new couch was delivered last weekend. It came in pieces and was in some HUGE boxes. As Paul and Sawyer were putting it together Sawyer had the best time playing in the boxes. Over the last week, this ottoman box, has been a race car, a rocket ship, and a fire engine just to name a few. What a wonderful imagination our sweet boy has. It's so fun to watch him play.
