Cookies!
We had a couple friends over last week to decorate Christmas cookies. Here are a couple pics of the kids. I think they did more licking fingers, and eating then decorating. It was fun to share holiday traditions with our friends here! Enjoy

ICE
Every year The Gaylord Texan does and ICE exibit. They have a different theme each year, and it's amazing. This year they took the classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas and brought it to life with the help of 2million pounds of ice. I've never seen anything like it. The hotel also is decorated beautifully and has so many fun things for families. They have Gingerbread Corner, with life size gingerbread houses, they have a huge train display, and so much more. Here are a LOT of pictures of thr ice show, and some of us around the hotel. Enjoy!

A White Texas Wednesday!
"Joy get up it's SNOWING" This is what I woke up to this morning. Paul was on on his way to take the dogs out and walked outside to find it snowing! Sawyer has never been in or seen snow. So we pulled on coats and hats and boots and headed outside. It was amazing. There is something so peacful and beautiful about the snow. We stayed outside for a while just watching it fall. Sawyer was trying to eat snowflakes. It was the most wonderful way to start our day. Paul had to go off to work, but Sawyer and I stayed outside and made snowballs and played in the snow for a while. We had a blast. Here are some pictures of our beautiful morning. Enjoy!

Gingerbread House Time!
We built gingerbread houses last night with some friends! It was so fun to watch the kids trying to sneak the candy and decorate their houses. It was even more fun to see the moms finish the houses when the kids lost interest after 5 minutes! Ahh what memories! Here are some pictures. Sorry there isnt a finished product, my battery died before we were done. Paul has some on his phone I will add later. Enjoy!
